Why do we use natural ingredients?

Using natural products is much better for the environment. And your body. Skincare products that contain chemicals can have a very damaging impact on the environment and your health. Sprays and perfumes that are released into the atmosphere can be very harmful.

See, when a lotion is applied to the skin, the ingredients contained within it slowly sink into the bloodstream. From there, they have a direct effect on many of the body’s processes. If the ingredients are beneficial, they’ll have beneficial effects. If, on the other hand, they’re a detriment, they’ll have adverse effects on the body and the environment.

Within the beauty market, there doesn’t seem to be a concrete definition for natural ingredients, as the United States Food and Drug Administration holds no strict regulations on what’s labeled “natural” or “all-natural.” It may seem obvious that natural ingredients are derived directly from natural sources – think water or coconut oil. In the age of transparency, most companies not only follow globally accepted guidelines, but also cite how they calculate its natural percentages.

Naturally-derived means that the starting material is natural. No synthetics here!
